The Darien Invitational III was held on October 21st and featured 12 teams from Connecticut and New York. Connecticut Quiz Bowl teams had a strong showing at Yale University's Fall Academic Tournament (FAcT) on September 16th, 2017, which was a regular-minus difficulty tournament. Schools from Connecticut in attendance included Wilton High School, Greens Farms Academy, Darien High School, E.O. Smith High School, Suffield High School, and Middlesex Middle School.
